Prisoners' hunger strike is on its 37th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike by prisoners in prisons demanding "freedom for Abdullah Öcalan and a political solution to the Kurdish problem" is on its 37th day.
 
The hunger strike action launched in prisons to demand the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has been kept in isolation on İmralı Island and has not been heard from for 34 months, continues on its 37th day.
 
Prisoners started a hunger strike on November 27 as part of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish problem" campaign. The action will continue until February 15, 2024.
